At One Nation Indivisible’s session, Susan Eaton will recount the story of Massachusetts’ dual immersion schools, which have thrived and grown in popularity despite an English-only law that bans most forms of bilingual education in the state. She will share storytelling strategies and discuss the power of values based narrative in advancing inclusive educational models like dual immersion that prepare students for life and learning in an increasingly diverse society.
La Cosecha is one of the largest dual language conferences in the country, and brings together educators, parents, researchers and practitioners supporting dual language enrichment programs in New Mexico and across the U.S.
